Mr. Visa Nathan

Mr. Nathan is the principal of the Nathan Dorevitch Lawyers. He is of Malaysian Origin having lived in Australia for almost 25 years.

He studied law in Australia at Melbourne University and graduated in 1992. He established his legal practise in 1993. He has practised exclusively in Immigration, Conveyancing, Business and Property Transactions, Family Law and Wills & Probate for over 15 years now. He has a genuine passion in helping the local community with their every day legal needs and providing with timely and pertinent advice.

 
     
   

Ms. Christina Messina
Senior Legal Clerk

Christina has more than 40 years experience in all property transfer, conveyancing, business and leases. Christina also handles all Wills and Probate.

She is fluent in Italian.

 
     
   

Ms. Mary Pham
Legal Clerk

Mary has been a legal secretary with Nathan Legal Practitioner for more than 8 years. She does converancing matters and property transfer.

Mary also helps to interpret for Vietnamese clients will all of their legal problems.

 
     
 

Mr. Mohan R. Nathan
Solicitor and Barrister

Mohan has had 5 years experience as a qualified lawyer. He has worked for the State Revenue Office of Victoria as a Litigation Lawyer for 3 years where he recovered unpaid taxes for the Commissioner of Tax. He has extensive knowledge of state taxes such as Land Tax, Pay-roll Tax, Stamp Duties and the First Home Owners Grant. He has also had 1 years experience with the Department of Human Services as Child Protection Lawyer. Here he negotiated and appeared for the best interests of children that have been abused or neglected by their parents. He has extensive knowledge on the Children Youth Family Act and the rights of the parents and children in child protection cases.

Mohan now takes his government experience to private practise to help the local community of Springvale and greater South East for their legal needs. Mohan has a strong affiliation with the South East community as he grew up in Dandenong area. He now practises extensively in:

  • Criminal Law - Police cases, Driving whilst suspended, Drink and Drink Driving and Drug Driving, Drug trafficking charges.  
  • Family Law - Domestic Violence, intervention orders and Child Contact
  • Commercial law – Sale of Business, Leases
